Giving By The Killingworth Lions!

RECENT UPDATES:

Killingworth Lions give to the community first with their own labor, and second by dispersing financial aid that has been raised through the club's fundraising efforts.

For our calendar year 2004-2005, Killingworth Lions gave more than 2,700 hours in service to Killingworth and our extended communities.

We perform our service through:

  • Direct labor in support of a town project, or to help individual(s) in the community who are ill or who have been disabled, and need a hand.
  • Preparing for -and working at - our traditional fundraising projects:
    • The Durham Fair: CT's best Fried Dough and Corn Dogs
    • Christmas Tree Sales
    • Annual Fund Letter
    • Blue Bird House Sales

Financial giving by the Killingworth Lions is managed as our Benevolent Budget. The Benevolent Budget is funded by the net of all community fundraising activities. It is used solely for benevolent activities, and is administered by our 501(c)3 Non-profit corporation, the Killingworth Lions Charities, Inc.
