Our club has invested $495,430 in community impact projects from January 1971 to September 2009.

Killingworth Community Service - Provides services to Killingworth residents directly or through service agencies. Includes Senior Citizen Dinner, Kid's Night out, food bank, Bikes for Kids, Easter Egg Hunt, Boy Scouts, Youth League, Project Graduation, Ambulance Association, Volunteer Fire Company, Library Association, HK Recreation Department, HK Youth and Family Services, St. Vincent DePaul Place, public health screenings, scholarships, soup kitchens, Lions Lend a Hand, Helping Hands. We have invested over $310,000 since 1971.

Killingworth Community Development - Monies spent within town to improve town facilities. Includes the Killingworth Land Trust, large print library books, volunteer fire department, equipment, Wolf Meadow Trail, cranberry bog purchase. We have invested over $59,000 since 1971.

Extended Service - Monies spent in support of continuing care for vision, diabetes, and other health-related services. Includes FIDELCO (guide dogs for the blind), Connecticut Lions Eye Research Fund, Lions Eye Health Program, Campaign Sight First, Lions Club International Foundation, Cystic Fibrosis, diabetes, Camp Rising Sun, Connecticut Radio Information Service, financial assistance for Killingworth residents with health related needs. We have invested over $115,000 since 1971.
